Optimizing Rice Distribution Model Using Linear Programming at West Java Bulog

Good distribution network management is a very important competitive advantage for company. West Java Bulog the representative of government in distributing and rice, which staple food commodity Indonesian people general, course, must pay attention to optimal pattern. In carrying out its operational processes, will be assisted by 7 regional subdivisions spread throughout region who handle rice their respective working areas. This study aims determine planning path optimum amount from districts cities that can minimize costs so incurred reach lowest point using Linear Programming method. The analysis this research was LINDO Software version 7.0 Windows 10.0. From results study, optimization at Bulog, with total cost USD 124,272.
